I got and i love it

How much music do you have? Do you see yourself putting movies on your ipod? Is size an issue? You should base your decision on your answers to these questions. The maximum capacity of an ipod nano is under 4gb(because of system files) which is only going to give you room for +/- 1,000 songs, less than that if your songs are encoded at a higher but rate, or in a higher quality format than mp3. The ipod Video comes in two "sizes", a 15 gb, and a 30 gb. They can hold quite a lot more music than the nano, but they are twice as big, and about 3 times as heavy as the nano. Also, you can put video files that you have stored on your computer on the ipod video, so that you can watch them on the go.
I have heard that the nano is very fragile, due to it's small size , and slender form factor.

don't get a nano they break way easy. they are smaller and easier to carry 'round but ipod reg. 60gb is great. it comes with free headphones and a whole ton of mem. and will still fit in your pocket. oh and be sure to never ever get an ipod shuffle. video is good too

The Video would be the best way to go....the reason being the Nano has many reports of it breaking, because its so thin...and besides the video cost like $80 more....and you get like 25 GB more...so YA GO FOR VIDEO (5G)

nanos are cute because they are so little (but i'm assuming you couldn't care less what ipod it the cutest lol) but that is my answer. i like minis too, thats what i have.

Sony are about to release a new one, im not sure when though, have you checked out there site? It might be best to wait and then relly show off cause you got a new one!

i would say video but those are soo common if you wanna be differend by one from archos and you could aloso record tv shows with them FOR FREE and they cost about the same!
