For the origin, read chapters 1-3 of Genesis. For the destination, read chapters 20-22 of Revelation.

Yep, the fossils point to the origin and the destination cannot be discovered until it is there...sorry, time travel is impossible, even in a 'bent' universe full of worm holes.
