My father-in-law recently passed away but I love him and my mother-in-law equally. How could I not love the people who produced such a wonderful son! No matter what happens between you and your in- laws you must stop and think that they are the people that gave your spouse life and nutured them to be the person they are. Barring any major childhood abuse or trauma - your spouse will always be tied to his or her parents emotionally. Your support of them despite any faults you think they have will only make your spouse love and appreciate you even more. No one needs in- law conflicts in their lives. People who try to drive a wedge between a spouse and any family member usually lose in the end.
p.s. I still call and visit my former mother-in-law from my first marriage. After all - she wasn't the one who cheated!

I've been married twice, I like both sets of in-laws that I have had. I have had no problems out of either of them,In fact I think of my ex-mother in law as a mom.

took me a long time to get to know my inlaws, thought they were a bit stand offish etc.. but now, after making an effort have found that they are both pretty great people.. also have good relationships with their respective new partners...they're my extended family now and i wouldn't trade them for the world! Probably get on better overall with my father in law though...

I have always loved my husband's family. They were always there both of them, now my father in law has passed and so has my husband but they are helping me cope a great deal. You don't always agree with one or the other but if love is given and you show how much you love their son or daughter they will love you. I've heard alot of my sisters say they hated their in-laws though so it just depends on who you marry, remember you don't marry the family.

I hate my husband's parents my in laws are buttholes their so bad we stay away from them they were nothing but trouble makers they didn't like me the day they met me they didn't like the fact that I already had a baby at 18 and when we got married they tried to start trouble all the time by lieing on me and my husband when Donnie's grandma died they said I wasn't invited to the funeral and when I was in the hospital pregnant with Kylie they tried getting my husband to leave to go to Indiana with them cause they wanted him to help them on the roads and they are so snobby they wouldn't take a thing to drink or anything to eat and they liked talking about people all the time I am so glad they stay away from us and we do them :) :) HALALUAH!!!!!

My mother-in-law is ok in strides. My dad-in-law is awesome! The rest of them are great!
She is just a bit strong for me and shows her emotions with her face. Just a bit much for me.
