Deleting the shortcut icons on the desktop will not delete the applications, but you can save memory by moving the icons to a folder.
- Close any applications you have open, or minimise them
- Right click on a blank area of the desktop
- Select New > Folder
- left click once, and hold down the button, on a blank area of the desktop, to the right and bottom of your icons
- select the icons you want to move by moving the mouse, keeping the button pressed, to the top right
- very carefully, click once on one of the selected icons and hold the button down
- drag and drop the icons into the new folder
- repeat for any solo icons you want to move (you cannot move some like My Computer)
- right click on the new folder and select Rename
- rename the folder as something like "My Apps"
You can also move this folder from the desktop to the Start menu, but you will have to ask another question for that!

It's an installer or updater, not part of your antivirus. It can be safely deleted once you've installed or updated your av program. You can delete the 23 icons it created, too.
You can also delete the sbc icons without affecting your Internet service - just keep the one you use to sign on.
The only icon you have to have on your desktop is the Recycle Bin. Anything else is optional.

Icons on your desktop are simply shortcuts (or pointers) to the real applications themselves. You can delete all your desktop icons and your computer will run fine. I have no icons on my desktop - its the cleanest thing in my house!

such numerous solutions... dude you're very youthful. do no longer say that "i'm a pupil so i don't get time for something". you have continuously. consume regardless of you opt to. in basic terms bypass outdoors in night and play some outdoors video games. specifically soccer, Badminton, Cricket etc etc. Play as much as you could. Play soccer each and every day for an hour or 2 and you will see the diversities.

nsw2005.exe isn't an icon. It's an executable. I would move it into the program file for your anti-virus utility. Then it will be there should you ever need to re-install the application.

What happened was nsw2005.exe extracted all over your desktop, it is safe to delete all those icons, put nsw2005 in its own folder, than should you ever run it again it will extract only in that folder.

If they have an arrow sign with them, there is no harm to delete them, and I'm sure they must have that sign with them, because mostly shortcuts are placed on desktop.
So just select them and press Shift + Delete
and delete them.
