if u get session times out, then the ping test your running on a dns, or ip address might be behind a firewall.
this what causes time out errors.
if u want to test via ping use the following ping www.bbc.co.uk
or ping 212.58.224.36 these are not behind firewalls and pingable.

some ip addreses won't respond to a Ping request. My router, for example, won't respond and the request will just time out.
Other causes
1 - the host you're trying to ping is down
2 - your internet connection is down
3 - problem with DNS (if you can ping by IP but not domain name)

1-You quickly want to regain control = Hold CTRL and press C
2-The server you are pinging has its own problems = not much you can do.
3-Something wrong with your connection = type "ipconfig /renew"
without quotes.

u cnt do anything..............session time out means ur'e net is "off"
