When people are funny, dont they get whatever they say from their friends or from other people?

Like "yo a s s is trippin" or like somethin funny dont they copy someone else? i dont think they could just make it up or they just developed there own style?

There are two levels of funny. Parroting buzz phrases is a lower level.
People who are genuinely funny seem to have a off-kilter way of looking at the world, and when they remark on things it gives you their silly or crazy view for a minute.
