The Atlantic ocean is moved by currents of water traveling North up the coast of America, then Eastward to Europe, South along the coast of Europe, then Westward back to America.
It circles round and round. The area known as the Bermuda Triangle is more or less the center of the circle. Because of this, all kinds of debris finally ends up there. It's called the Sargasso Sea. The old time superstitious sailors imagined all sort of things happening, and told stories right out of their imaginations.
There are no more accidents or disappearences there than anywhere else. but because of the superstition they're reported more and connected to unknown forces.

I was on a ship in a hurricane in the Bermuda Triangle for five days once, a long time ago. Our anemometer broke when the wind hit 126 MPH. The waves were higher than the ship's mast.
But here I am, old gray and wrinkled and living in the Midwest.
Whuddya think of that?

No. Its a myth, and has been disproven. A lot of what was claimed about the stories has been proven to be false or inaccurate. This has been known for about 20 years now, but the legend lives on.

americans are the most inquisitive humans on the earth, do you really think there is any thing on this earth that surpasses their understanding? If there is ever something that has our so called brains of the world scratching their heads you better believe there is knowledge there of, as well as a gag order.

Nonsense. Suddenly, with advanced guidance systems, satelites, GPS, communications, etc, etc, no more dissappearing ships and planes. Now how could that have closed that time portal in the ocean?
