Has anyone ever dismantled a house and moved it to a new location for reassembly?

No, but I have seen it done by a neighbor - it is better to have it professionally moved, which can cost from $50,000 - $90,000.

I've dismantled old barns and moved them to another location. It was great fun and easy, since most of the lumber had holes already for the nails. Just be sure and mark them as to location, etc. A house should be relatively as easy.
