no and simply no. "common people" don't get 5% of nthese million dollar tax breaks for the rich, and right now, why are we even giving tax breaks! We've got over a trillion dollar defecit and STUPIDITY wars going on every where else.

Assuming you are talking about the US -- then "yes!". The top 50% of the nation is already paying over 96% of all income taxes, so the bottom 50% don't have to pay much income tax (but they do pay payroll taxes).

As long as the "elitists" stay out of power -- then the common people will prosper in this country.

Sorry if you don't like the answer, but those are the facts. I'm assuming you wants answers and facts, not partisan blather.

No! our nation is in terrible trouble! Our Democracy is broken. They use Diebold vote stealing machines.BOTH parties do the bidding of the multinational corporations, and the military industrial complex, instead of the bidding of "common" people.over 312 BILLION dollars have been wasted on Iraq causing more terrorists, when it should of went toward fighting those that actually attacked us.And toward tightening the borders, securing targets here at home, and checking incoming cargo.our economy is getting ready to crash.we are screwed.on the other hand, the riches one quarter of one percent, are doing better than ever, thanks to the Bush cartel.

Regarding the latter, one of our main deficiencies is universal health care, something which every other industrialized Western nation (and some industrialized and not so industrialized Eastern nations) have.

We've got about 300 million common people in the richest, most free country on earth...I'd say it's OK for them, just so they didn't arrive illegally.
