First off they would brand him a pinko commie for his ideas of taking care of the less fortunate. Then cheney would come out and declare that he is supporting terrorism by wanting to stop the killing in iraq. Then they would probably nail him to a cross after sending him through one of there torture camps.

1. Jesus will return like lightening across the sky. No one will be able to threaten Him.
2. When we help out at the soup kitchens around here all the other helpers are Republicans. The most conservative churches that I know of are the most active in helping the homeless and hungry.
3. Difference between Dems and Republicans that I have noticed is that the Repubs give generously and sacrificially directly to the charities that can help the most, with the smallest amount of bureaucracy. Dems want the(hugely wasteful) government to take care of the poor and homeless.

80 years ago Republicans where Democrates and and it always switches if you understand. Ronald Regan changed it so that Republicans are also the party of the worker. Liberalism today is best described as "George Orwells 1984" and Republicanism is described as, "All the Christians and sensable people" Since most of the christians are republicans I belive they wouldn't, but then the Democrates would kill Jesus because the "evil" republicans wh you "Hate so much" and "devoure" for no reason would follow him.

first of all i don't mean offense because i don't choose sides when it comes to voting, i am of no party,i stand for what they say not because he/ she is republican or democrat, so i'd say that both parties would see a threat, i mean if you think about it mostly all the world would see a threat, how would you believe such a great being as him, whom no one has seen for the longest time, just suddenly popped up it would strike fear into every being, but since you are talking about the parties ill stick to that, i mean each of the candidates knows they've done wrong, and no one would be able to accept the fact so they would try to shun him from existence or run him out, so to answer your question both of the parties would run him out, because of fear

That's what a bunch of liberals of the time wrote about Him. They also wrote (when it served their purpose) that Jesus threw peddlers out of the temple and He didn't like hypocrites. Jesus never wrote anything. The riddle for you to live with is whether He was really God's son, or just a messed-up liberal.
Most of my close friends are Christian Republicans, active in political support and active in their churches.

There have been lots of movies about cases of mistaken identity in which some people mistakenly thought "the savior" had returned. How could that be avoided? Is Ted Kennedy your idea of a savior? Is anybody?

Actually, I have faith, and believe that JC would deal with the republicans, and ALL politicians (sinners) in His own inimitable way, whether He performs a mercy killing (!!!) or whatever. Publicans and Sinners, Pharisese all, are the folks He warned all those years ago.

No. But the Democrats would either keep kicking Him out of schools, minimize His importance to us, and even question His existence to his face.
Just like they do today.
And the Democrats would really seethe even more while the President embraces Him in public, like he does now.
Liberals like to claim Jesus is liberal, yet liberals don't embrace Him. Hypocrites.
Sorry if this isn't the answer you are looking for, but be careful what you ask for -- you will get it. Sorry if you don't like it.

Certain Republicans that invoke Christianity but don't live like lives like Christians certainly would. The right-windgers hide behind religion but are the most judgemental, cruel, uncaring and money grubbing people on the planet.
