Im from New Zealand, & if I start asking questions after work for example, are you all going to be asleep? When is the best time for me to ask questions?

Well, you are up late, Kiwi!

New Zealand is GMT+12 and the States range from GMT-5 to GMT-8, so in terms of hours, you are between 7 and 4 hours behind them (the sun has got to rise on all the states before it rises on you).

Right now it is:
4:40 pm in the UK
3:40 am in NZ
8:40 am in California
11:40 am in New York

(owing to Summer Time, I think my hours may be a bit out above)

So at 6 pm in NZ, it will be 1pm on the West Coast and 10 am in NY (at the moment).

Search for 'world clock free software'. There are plenty out there (including several with Yahoo! Widgets). My personal favorite is Qlock ... liked it so much I bought it! ... http://www.qlock.com

Right now you're asking and we woke up already. It's morning here. What time is it there?
