I love musicals and it is impossible to pick just one favorite. I loved Hairspray(saw it on Broadway). I also saw and loved Man of La Mancha. I can't wait till A chorus Line reopens next month. As far as older musicals: West Side Story, Carousel, Bye Bye Birdie,The Sound of Music, Camelot. I love them all and I have never been disappointed. I sing the songs all around the house which might not be a good thing considering the fact that I can't sing!
