"Is not infinite space omnipresent, and omnipotent, the one real true being in all?"

Much earlier than Hubble!

Yes, he was definetly a mystic scientist. I think the main part about space in this context is about God or the Universal core if you will's untouchability rather than refering to actual space-time. I think the most important words are the 'omni's' and the 'being' in the overall logic of the question. It refers to a united inner centre to everything that is.

And that centre being beyond the physical, perhaps of a completly different nature. Perhaps of pure sense?

I think that would be Mr. Isaac Newton.

yes

Space allows all that takes place to take place. It is passive and does not make you do what you do not want to, but it allows you to do what you want by giving you the 'space' to do it in.

And space being the whole universe means that only things within the laws of physics happen

That is omnipotent enough for me

I sounds like something that Edwin Hubble would have babbled about.

Those type of questions are normally asked about God not space.
Religion ask those kind of questions to reveal the nature of god.

no because just because space goes on forever doesn't mean that it can do anything. If blank space can't cause me to jump up and down then It can't be omnipotent so your statement is false.
