Brilliant...but be careful of the exchange places that advertise "No commission".Ask what you get first,before you change your money or risk being ripped off big-time.Watch out for pick-pockets,especially those wanting to sell you roses on the street and the women who pinch their babies to make them cry,then ask you for money for babyfood. If you keep your wits about you,it's a great place.Fantastic beach,market,night life.Tons of shops.Have a great time

Good if u want to get pissed 4 a holiday. It's like any other typical cheap spanish holiday resort. I agree u get some real scutty people there. The highlight of my hubby's hol there with the lads was seeing Sticky Vicky who performs in pretty much all the bars. She is famed for the interesting items she can shove up herself! Razor blades on string, about 10 metres of coloured flags and most impressively of all she can light a light bulb by screwing it in to herself (where is that battery pack hidden?) and she can sharpen a pencil up there as well! I have to say I was very impressed with his videos, I couldn't do that! well I've never actually tried! Could this be a new career move!

levante beach is superb, clean. the new town where most the Brits go is tatty,full of cheap gift shops, bit run down. Most the entertainment is in that area, cabaret acts galore, nightclubs,tip: just drink bottled beer stay away from the draught - its crap.
Good acts on at Morgans bar. Go towards the Old Town for a better atmosphere, narrow streets with small bars, great restaurants and very little agro

Benidorm is fine if you like lots of bars and chinese shops selling crap! Levante side of town is full of bars, with entertainment well into the early hours, and lots of places to eat, recommend The Chicken ranch, Rancho Pollo, great roast chicken there. Lots of chinese shops selling tat, couple of sex shops as well as the tourist ones selling ebach stuff and silly things. Pointenet end, a bit more refind, again lots of bar but smaller ones down little side streets, lots of gay bars and B & B's that end of town as well as lots of good spanish places to eat out

Yes, if you don't try to act like a snob and just let yourself go and enjoy yourself.
They have a themepark, 2 waterparks and a zoo and another park with a dolphin show.
There is two huge sandy beaches. 1000's of bars. An Old town area with tapas bars, and loads of nice restaurantswhich you have to try.

i have been there many times while working. ( i run karaoke over there)
beware of pick pockets and street games( cards etc)
otherwise its a good place

in short bursts it can be fun but don't go if you hate karaoke
