John, while slightly loony is doing well for a man with one kidney and used to be in a wheelchair, he would pass on good survival genes

who is bernard again? is he the husband of the lady with cancer? if he is then i'd have to say john too because of the reasons you have given above - he's a bit of a tough guy. he would be able to keep that big hog thing well away from you and you'd never go hungry lol...plus you know what they say about bald men...
