True premises are based on objective reality. Objective reality teaches us that we cannot breathe in space, cannot breathe in water, cannot fly, cannot live forever, cannot stop aging, cannot avoid disease. I could think of many, many more examples, but it is obvious that not all things are possible to man. In the sixties on Telegraph avenue in Berkeley, California, there were hippies who believed they could fly. Of course the LSD helped them think like that. They dove out of upper story windows secure in the belief that they could fly. That belief lasted a few seconds until they splatted on the pavement below. So much for false premises and false beliefs.

Not that I've ever been to space, but I've been told there is no oxygen outside of our atmosphere, and as it is essential for humans to breathe in order to continue living I think that might answer your question. And anyway who told you anything is possible? I think someone's parents may have been a little bit too optimistic for their child's future if this question is anything to go by lol

this is doable that an Earth-like planet with unicorns exists, in spite of the shown fact that i would not say it was constantly real. there's a nicely-enjoyed factors for estimating those concerns noted using fact the Drake equation. regardless of the reality that it is not particularly finding to evaluate notwithstanding if or not or now not there are worlds with unicorns, it does enumerate the variables to do not forget approximately. while all is declared and accomplished, the quantity of worlds wherein life might exist is a lot smaller than the quantity of worlds interior the universe. additionally, the equation maximum clever considers our universe, and various scientists think that our universe is barely considered one of multiple universes in an never-ending multiverse.

You can.
If you go up far enough, there is still just enough oxygen to breathe when you just break the limit and technically enter space.
Or take your own air supply.
And you can breathe anyway in deep space - there just isn't enough oxygen to keep you alive.

anything is not possible - like george bush stopping his wars and giving up his weapons. We can't breathe in space as there is no oxygen and our bodies need oxygen to survive. Maybe (In billions of years) are bodies may have evolved so that we don't need oxygen - but for now we do.

The phase anything is possible is only to say that anything is possible only if it is subjected to the laws of physics. You may be knowing the phase that necessity is the mother of invention, if conditions get worse on earth who knows one day humans may evolve a organ that may allow us to take energy from a light of very small intensity and meet the requirements of our body. Then we can even breadth in space subjected to physical laws.So remember Adidas's punch line IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.......

If anything is possible, we can breath in space....with the correct suit and a cannister of air! Sometimes it means with the proper equipment...not just as God made us.

Anything is possible? Really? Is it possible for someone on this site to ask a sensible question? Didn't think so. Theory proven wrong.

Anything is possible just not necessarily NOW!
The original matches BTW were so unstable they could burst spontaneously into flame; scraping them on a jelly would have been more than enough to set them off! It took years of development to get them to the point where you HAD to strike them on a rough surface to ignite them.

we can and do. we had to make it possible. if you want to take it to that level. you should have asked why cant we morph into a giant flame throwing beatle with 9.73 legs and gold deposits on the exoskeleton. what do you think they did on all the space shuttle missions where they left the craft. you know what they say. there are no stupid questions only stupid... oh yeah just remembered if you cans say anything nice make fun make fun make fun,.
