Not to worry, any small bits of undigestable material in your body comes out in your stool after a day or so. Ever notice that with corn?

Any other theories are just urban legends.

chewing gum is one of those things that your body can't digest ( break down into useable parts) so it just takes a ride through your belly and comes out the other end in a few days, and unless you REALY LOOK you won't notice it left.

You will surely die!

lol... just kidding...

No, but its really not good for you to do regularly. Once every now and then is probably okay, but I've heard of kids having to have surgery from swallowing gum all the time. It can clog up your stomach or intestines... not good.

So... you'd probably be better to just spit it out ;).

Hope this helps, and happy chewing! :)

An apple tree will grow in your stomach. Ooops, wrong question. Ha ha

Nothing will happen to you. Your body cannot digest gum so it will just pass through you "and out" in tact.

No worries.

then it gets all tangled up in those tubes. it's not a big truck that you just dump something on, it's a series of tubes.

Nothing. That I know of. I used to do it all the time when I was growing up. You have to consciously decide not to do it.
