How do I tell my parents i want to become a hip/hop artist. And i wanna start going to recording studios? I mean they're my parents i know i should be able to tell them but they arn't that fond of hip/hop and rap.

alrite prepare to be elightened little man. Most rappers nowdays dont tell their parents. Continue doin wat ur doin, keep writing on ur notepad, if ur good try and get in the recording studious but ur parents dont have to know. That might sound bad to u but it pays of in the long run. If ur as good as u think u are then u got nothin to worry about, just sell urself to the ppl ur tryina impress and when u start sellin ur tunes then ur parents will be all for it. Remember they only want wats best for u, if rap and hip/hop is best for u then the only way they can find out is wen they realise the potential u got (when ur sellin ur demos). Just tell them. Expect to pay for it out of your own money.
Also, the number of people who actually make any money in that field is about one out of 5 million that try. So while keeping your hopes up, try, but also keep your school studies up, your homework done, and get great grades so you can move on to college.
plus: having good grades should help persuade your parents to let you try.

Well, parents should allow you the freedom to be what you want. It really isn't that easy just becoming one, though.
