For a while I was gettnig a brazillian wax done every 5 weeks or so, well that got too expensive, so I stopped. I've tried waxing myself, but that's just too painful to deal with. So I'm kinda stuck with, if I want all the hair off, I have to shave. That too is painful, as I get this awful razor burn. Does anybody know of a way to prevent the razor burn but still get all the hair gone? Please help!

Use plenty of shaving cream/gel or shave while in the bath. Only shave in the direction of hair growth as this with also minimize ingrowing hair (if you ever get that). Moisturize afterward with a good non-perfumed cream like E45.

You could always just shave your genital area and use hair removal cream (such as Veet) for the front bit. If you know what I mean. It's not suitable for genital areas as the skin there is too sensitive and gets very sore if cream is left on long enough to remove the hair (despite packet warnings, I tried!).

Hope this helps.

Not getting too gross or anything but are you using shaving cream. If you're not you will get a nasty razor burn. You can use Sea Breeze for sensitive skin for the burn it usually helps. I guess you could look at the store they have all kinds of hair removal systems now. I'm sure they have something out there especially for bikini line.

You have to use a new razor everytime you shave. Old razors are causing the burns. Then you could rub down the areas with alcohol. It prevents bumps and burns. Well good luck.

When you are done shaving, rub your deodorant on the shaved area especially if you shave your bikini line. It works for me and it stops any stinging you might have..
