The Garden was east of Eden, watered by a river flowing from it that became four rivers named Pishon, Gihon, Tigris and the Euphrates. The location of the heads of the rivers is in Syria and Turkey, so that is where it must have been. Also Adam's son Cain lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden, which could easily be Iraq where Nimrod lived and built the Tower of Babel, later known and to this day is Babylon.

Being that Genesis was written by Moses approx 1498 b.C. after he fled Egypt.
We know that direction was "eastward" to Eden, that would be in the direction of (then day) Arabia(n Peninsula) or Mesopotamia (Iraq.) Between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. A distance of approx. 150 miles between the two.
So somewhere in the middle there. =)

Actually, it was on the North American continent, approximately where the state of Missouri is today. The alter where Adam made sacrifices to the Lord upon leaving the garden, is still there today. It is the same place where the Temple will be built to house Christ while He Reigns as King upon the earth during the millennium.

Mesopotamia, or modern Iraq. Genesis 2:14 mentions the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

That would be in Asia.

It was supposed to have been between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which today are part of Iraq. Ironic, isn't it.
