I have used Ebay for years now. I have had some problems, but not normally, I pay close attention to the feedback and stay away from people with a lot of negative feedback. Also, if the item description is very vague and/or there is no picture...I also stay away from it. If you have any issues the seller will not work with you with ... you can always ask Ebay to step in. I also use PayPal in order to pay for my transactions as they have a bit of a guarantee. Good luck....it can be fun, addicting, and money-saving!!

I use ebay to buy items.. and I have never had any problems. You can't really make a mistake when buying from sellers. They have feedback telling you if you should trust the seller or not. I always buy from 100% positive feedback ebayers and I never have a problem. Also, if you are looking for an item, look for auctions that have ended to see how much you SHOULD bid on. Sometimes people end up bidding way too high. Those are some tips.. hope that thelps.

I use ebay all the time and I love it!! It's so easy and you get awsome deals if you know what youre doing.
One thing to remember is that you should always make sure the seller is a good one- check out their feedback.
Also, you shouldn't always bid on something right away when the auction starts- watch the item and when it is about to end place your bid.
Know when the bidding ends and be logged on so if you are out- bid you can place a higher one
After you win a bid, make sure you hold on to your tracking number that is sent to your email so you know where your order is in the mail
Also, make sure you are aware of the types of payment the seller accepts- sometimes they only recieve cashiers checks (I've made that mistake before) The easiest way to purchase an item (in my opinion) is through Paypal.
Those are my tips--Have fun, oh, and don't forget to leave feedback after you recieve your purchases!

I do, and I have some good and some bad. What I have learned is to really read the comments left for the sellers from the members. If somebody has like 67 good stars, and 15 bad stars for example, I wouldn't buy from them! I have bought everything from clothing, books, movies, to make-up on there. Most of the time I buy the brands that I already know to be good (I am also a HSN/QVC shopper) and alot of times I can get some of their things way cheaper.
I bought a dress that HSN normally sells for 79.00 for 25.00 and it was an incredible value, same dress with no problems.
What I would suggest you avoid is buying from somebody outside the US. Their shipping is going to be higher, and you don't know if they are really reliable....that is where those stars come in handy!

I've bought many things on ebay, I've only once had a problem, (when the seller shipped the wrong item, but he sent me the correct one as soon as I emailed him). I usually only buy from sellers who have a 99% or higher rating from more than 20 buyers, that way you know they have a history of being reliable. Most sellers accept paypal, so setting up your own paypal account to send payment makes it easier to buy things. Paypal is free to use as a buyer, you just need a checking account or credit card to link to it.

I never had any problems but you should always check out first what the stuff your trying to buy costs in a store and also think of the costs people charge you to send it to you, some are really trying to rip you off with that

The price is raised by ebay bidding against you until it reaches the sellers set price. Also, watch out for shipping and handling charges. Some are exorbitant.

Yes I do, and I always get what I paid for. But I only buy cheap items 100 euro and under. Anything higher, I would'nt take a risk.
