I'll choose parents because bf/gf come and go, but parents there's only one set. Besides there are plenty of bf/gf out there.

You should never have to choose between either of them. What situation put you there? Because it shouldn't exist in the first place. Look what you have done to create the mess.....and fix it. But ultimately, family is everything. They will stick with you through thick and thin......as a boyfriend may not. Boyfriends are replaceable....family is not.

I couldn't make a choice ...I would try to make it work so everyone got along...It would depend alot on the situation..but I would never choose anyone over my parents ...The person I am with would understand and deal with it or not

I was forced to make this choice by my mother ... and I chose my B/F...who has been my husband for over 17years now! Not every choice is easily made ...and it's often not the right one. In my case, I got lucky because he was the man God intended for me .... and my mom and I eventually reconciled and are relearning each other and how to be friends.

Thankfully I don't have to make that choice because my parents and boyfriend get along fine. But if a girl's boyfriend doesn't respect/like her parents, she should dump him!

I believe that for your parents to get where they are they made their own choices, some of which were'nt good.So, go for your partner.You only live once and your parents will still remain your parents-no matter what.Goodluck

if your bf/gf asks you to make a choice then better think twice if he/she really loves you..
if your parents asks you to make a choice then explain to them that you really love the person and that he/she is worth fighting for, and since they are your parents i know they will understand...

if i had to pick between my b/f or mom it would have to be my mom. she and I have had arguments 100 times over but, we have always made up later.
I know i could never loose my mom cuz she gave birth to me but, a simple divorce i and would loose my husband forever.
and, im not about to do that.
i would pick my husband over my parents but i do love my mom with all my heart.
