There are lots of British accents. But if you go to the BBC website (http://www.bbc.co.uk) and listen to radio 4, this is great for the most well-known British accent, called "Received Pronunciation". The BBC also has a Voices section (just search for it) devoted entirely to different British accents with lots of samples.

That was me a couple years ago where I had to do the same thing. The thing that worked for me was watching british tv on cable or renting books on tape where the reader is british (I would use the Harry Potter series read by Jim Dale) I found the best way is to constantly hear the british accent, and then repeat what they say. Good Luck, and break a leg!

Well I think that BBC is one of the best places to better your accent. I would also get a whole bunch of british movies like monty python movies, those really help too.I don't think you'll find a website but TV and movies definetly help....
What play are you doing?

Check out Monty Python, they are really funny and have great accents for you to imitate and learn. I recommend "the Holy Grail" or "Life of Brian"
