Does anyone know the name of the guitar that Slash plays in the Guns n Roses song November Rain, and also where I can get one.

What a solo, huh? In that video, it is a Gibson Les Paul Standard Heritage Cherry Burst with the pick guard removed. But his signature guitar built by Gibson is a Custom guitar in Desert Burst with a Fishman acoustic guitar component embedded in the bridge. There is an additional switch you can use to switch between the acoustic and electric guitar sounds.
If you want to emulate Slash's "sound and the looks" in the most cost efficient way, a Gibson Les Paul Classic in Heritage Cherry Burst with 500T and 498R pickups (for increased sustain) plus an Ibanez tube screamer will do. Of course all through a Marshall amp. The guitar should cost you less than 800 pounds.

It's a Gibson Les Paul. Sometimes Slash playes a Les Paul standard, custom, or a studio model even. They are a bit pricey but well worth the money if you have enough moola to spend between nine hundred to six grand, (sounding like Slash/talent not included).....LOL

Gibson Les Paul Standard. The Custom is different in that it has a maple top, ebony fingerboard, mother-of-pearl inlays and gold plated fittings. Expect to pay around £1000 in the UK for a new one. Don't forget the amplification contributes to tone as well.

Gibson Les Paul. They are one of the best guitars period. They are very heavy and expensive but they are worth it. It is the type of guitar that actually goes up in price if you take care of it :D
