First off, whenever there is blood always call the doctor and make an immediate appointment. Either with your family care physician or your OB doctor. Blood is not a normal thing to see in vomit, at any time. When in doubt aways see or consult your doctor immediately.
When you vomit, a lot sometimes the tiny blood vessels in your throat break. Which isn't a major problem. Its called by straining when you vomit. The stuff comes up in a manner its not supposes to which causes people to strain to get it out. (food usually goes down not up as you know). Sometimes when vomiting and sickness happens, especially during pregnancy we get what is called "dry heaves", where we have the urge to vomit but because there is nothing left in our body it causes straining to gag either clear stomach fluids or nothing at all. Straining is the usual cause of "show" bleeding which is what some doctors call the little pink blood that we see in vomit.
Another cause for vomiting up blood is bleeding ulcers or other stomach problems. Bleeding ulcers usually causes quite a bit of blood in vomit and can be caused or irritated by stress. I can guess that your quite stressed due to the pregnancy and the changes in your body and hormones as all women usually are. Bleeding ulcers is something needed to be dianosed by a doctor through tests and controlled by a doctor and medication. It leads to very serious complications and sickness.
When in doubt, I always tell those I know to call your doctor. Expecially during pregnancy.

Does the blood look like fresh red blood or darker older blood? You should speak to your doctor about it BUT it is probably fine if it only happens once every 2 weeks and in the morning. The further along you get in pregnancy your blood volume increases and your body sometimes finds ways to get rid of it. When I was pregnant with my first ...around month 7 I started getting nose bleeds , mainly after vomitting. It could be blood from your nose that has drained and been swallowed while you were sleeping...thus causing more nausea and vomitting. Talk to your doctor to be safe but don't worry until you know it is something to worry about. Also when in doubt don't wait for your next appt. call his office and talk to his nurse , that is what they are there for.

I threw up blood some when I was pregnant with my daughters, but mine was because I had been throwing up so much that my entire digestive system was raw and torn up. Very painful.
What you have could also possibly have an ulcer they can make you throw up blood as well.
When pregnant never take a chance, get EVERYTHING checked out

Any time you vomit up blood, you need to see a doctor quickly. It could be several things, but it is not at all normal. It might be a bleeding ulcer, but it could also be something else so get in to see your doctor as soon as you can.

See a doctor ASAP. You shouldn't be vomiting even a small amount of blood. You need to get it checked out to find the cause so they can get it stopped.

You could have little tears in your esophagus from the vomiting. You need to call your OB doctor and let him/her know what is going on; you may need iv hydration, or medication to alleviate the vomiting.

vomitting and headaches are common in pregnancies any time of the day,the blood could be due to something you have eaten, spicy food etc, espcially as it only happens every 2 weeks and only in the morning.but see your doctor asap as it could be gastro-oesophageal reflux.(acid in the stomach)or other conditions.watch out for pre-eclampsia how far gone are you?
