I will be starting up my own cleaning business and need to know where I can find cleaning contracts or do I make up my own? I heard that Staples has examples of them. Please help.

Congratulations. You're taking responsibility for doing the hard stuff now, with the vision of yielding financial results as a business owner down the road. There are BOOKS on the subject. Get yourself down to Barnes & Noble or Borders or Books A Million early some evening, go to the "Business And Money Management" section, and take your pick of books on how to start your janitorial/maid service. The importance of getting to the bookstore EARLY cannot be overemphasized, since these stores only have so many "comfy-chairs" per store, usually four or less, and once these are occupied by other readers, you're S.O.L. With a $ 20.00 investment at the end of the night, you'll have a book with the ideas to make up a contract that'll fly. Then go DO IT. Get in front of the prospects, and anything that's not covered, write in a clause in the white space that you make sure to allow between your paragraphs. Don't worry about being perfect, just get started soon, and fix it and make it better as you go along.

You can find a list of legals tool in this article: http://www.nomorecubes.com/business-legal-tools/. They have all types of contracts for small business and they are the same companies that have their products in staples and office max. you can buy a suite of products and print them off, or just the particular form that you are looking for.

I hope this helps!

Try any office supply store. I also hear Dave Ramsey advertise industry-specific legal forms at www.daveramsey.com

Good Luck
