Last month my mom and sister both got their periods about a week early, and this month i did too.

Like most of those who have answered, I do know that it does happen, but I have no clue as to why it happens.

yes, i got similar experience too. me and my close friends get our periods at around the same time. there's probably some hormones communicates with each other and synchronise the period's time of women in a close social circle or family.

Yes, it does happen. Who knows why, but it does. When I was in college and living with other women in the dorm, the ones I hung around with and I syncronized.

Yes, very true. Also nightmarish in a house with 4 women in it. You just stay away from each other to survive.

Oddly enough, yes it happens. Not sure why. When I was younger my mom's and mine starting going at the same time.

yes, its really weird. In college all the girls in my suite started getting their period at the same time.
