right this is whats going to ensue: some twelve months or 2 from now no person would be rather talking approximately Iran each and on a daily basis and out of no the place the IDF will launch a extensive air raid bombing the crap out of Iran's nuclear websites, Hezbollah will act up a touch each and every person would be in a uproar and Iran will only pass into opposite in a while.

It won't happen right away, it at all. There is no way the UN will approve a resolution authorizing military force, especially when they haven't even imposed sanctions yet. If Bush did decide to go unilaterally there is no way he would get approval in congress, not unless Iran did something really stupid like attack our interests in Iraq or elsewhere, and not after our experience with Iraq. Even if Bush could get past ail of that he would still need to make sure that the other countries were on board, or at least would stay neutral. I've seen nothing in Bush or Rice to show me that they have the diplomatic acumen to pull that off. Then there is one of Iran's biggest customers for oil, China. I doubt they'll sit back and do nothing while we cut off their oil supply. And what about Chavez in Venezuela? He could impose an embargo on the US in support of Iran, then turn around and sell that oil to China to make up for their supply that had been cut off.

We are stretched too thin to attack Iran, but there is no need to. All they are doing is beginning work on their nuclear reactor (which is permitted) without UN observers (which is the main problem). the UN and the USA must negotiate with Iran to put the observers back in - but the USA has no diplomatic ties with Iran.

oh, man! why is it always between some renegade country and only just the usa? aren't there other countries involved here, like all of the countries involved with the un? the us is not alone in realising that iran is off the wall. they are enriching uranium, and at the same time supplying terrorists with weapons. people should be afraid that iran's president is trying to make it possible that terrorists have nuclear capability, and we all pretty much know terrorists are crazy, and not really religeous. they are just using religeon to accomplish their ends.

You have one guy from Iran who is a total F@&^#%ing zealot that thinks provoking end times will bring forth god etc and his bible is right.

In the other corner your have grand master sublime bush which I would bet has been exposed to the mysteries of truth etc and doubts there is a God.

Now it comes down to penis size to stubborn pricks saying do it, make your damn move. The sad thing with these trigger happy pricks is they do not consider the people half their age have not even began to live life. I wish elder would act like elders and make an ethic for yound people to look up to. No they are to busy with ding dong games and being snide and smug.

Whatever if they are gonna bring it, so shall we. Lets go out in full blown chaos.

As an American, I do not think it is fair for citizens of these countries to be killed through no fault of their own, but because of the failings of leaders on both sides.

I do believe in the principle of stopping the spread of nuclear weapons in the Middle East. Israel should not have them, for a start. If we are serious about keeping this region nuclear-free, we as Americans have to demand that the Israelis disarm.

Learn grammar & how to spell moron.

What war? The US would win in about 2 hours. We don't need a ground invasion there so we can completely destroy the Iranian military & government from the air.

I hate when 3rd world countries get all uppity. Iran needs a big smack to the face. Esp. Mack-mood Amad-a-din-a-terrorist-jad.

THE IAEA AND CIA HAVE REPORTED OVER AND OVER AND OVER THAT IRAN IS ONLY SEEKING "FUEL" GRADE URANIUM ENRICHMENT FOR THEIR NEW POWER PLANTS AND COULDN'T POSSIBLY DEVELOP A WEAPON WITHIN 10 YEARS EVEN IF THEY WANTED TO.

http://www.eyeontheun.org/assets/attachments/documents/IAEA_report_on_Iran_4-28-06.pdf
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/01/AR2005080101453_pf.html

ONLY BUSH PROPAGANDA BELIEVERS BUY INTO THE UNSUBSTANTIATED CLAIMS OF IRAN PERSUING "WEAPONS" GRADE ENRICHMENT.

BUSHCO IS COUNTING ON YOU NOT KNOWING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "FUEL" AND "WEAPONS" GRADE URANIUM ENRICHMENT (TWO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THINGS- http://www.nrc.gov/materials/fuel-cycle-fac/ur-enrichment.html ) BECAUSE IT MAKES IT EASIER FOR THEM TO SELL YOU ANOTHER WAR OF CONQUEST TO STEAL MORE OIL, SHUT IT OFF AND CREATE ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY.

PS. IRAN IS ENTITLED TO NUCLEAR POWER AS A SIGNER TO THE NON-PROLIFERATION TREATY. ISRAEL IS NOT EVEN A SIGNER YET HAS A MASSIVE AMMOUNT OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS. THIS IS FACT.

I second the grammar chastisement.

Iran is going to get destroyed but, I have my reservations as to who is going to do it. I see the scenario possibly playing out like this;
Israel nuking the stuff out of Iran and the US backing their play.

Having a pretty extensive understanding of these jihad ****** I think Israel will have no choice and I for one will rejoice!
