Why shouldn't people own land ? A great number of people work extremely hard on the land such as Farmers and even large estate owners that employ people to work on their land giving them jobs which in some areas is the only work that is available .
In some Country's in S.America and Africa where land and wealth is controlled by less than 3%of the population it not a good idea .
A country however like Zimbabwe where the Government there took the land from the white farmers have turned that Country from
being the bread basket of Africa into one of the most impoverished Country's in the World .

How much land are we talking about here.Does this include farm land.My husband has worked extremely hard since he was a teenager so that he could have a small amount of land to farm.So I would say if you want it and work for it then why not especially if its how you make your living and you appreciate it and look after it.

You are right. Land re distribution is absolutely necessary. As they had in Zimbabwe. FK the rich and fat. Viva the revolution. Most of these Americans who defend their shoddy state are poor debt laden no-hopers who've been fed the video of the DREAM. I say dream on!

GOOD QUESTION - MOST OF SCOTLAND WAS OWNED BY LANDOWNERS WHO ALL LIVED ABROAD AND COULD NOT BE TRACED.THE LABOUR PARTY HAS CHANGED THE RULINGS RECENTLY.LANDOWNERS GO BACK IN HISTORY TO WHERE KINGS GRANT LAND TO PEOPLE THEY LIKE AND YOU ARE RIGHT THERE IS NO EQUALITY WITH THE QUEEN LIVING IN A GOLD PALACE AND PEOPLE LIVING ON THE STREETS IN BOXES.
