I love sitting on a lazy river bank, with a fishing pole in hand, not caring if the fish bite or not, just enjoying the LORD'S work...
Its as close to silence as I get, other than sleeping. And to me, its a great stress reliever, to watch the water go by, and not have a soul around, just quiet....
I wish you well..
Jesse

Very seldom is there true silence. Even in a forest you will hear bugs, birds. When there is true silence we pick up on it quickly, ever say to someone " listen there is no noise" Because it is not the norm or senses say wow. So enjoy the silence, in this over populated world true silence if few and far between. So just listen and let your brain and senses relax.

(I have to agree with "Badgirl" above. There certainly is something erotic about the language of this question. And, the car's not bad, either.) Anyway, silence is amazing. I heal in the energy of silence.

I usually get bored w/ silence, but after a very stressful day at work the other day, i was begging for it. It's nice sometimes to jus have time to yourself, collect your thoughts, and just relax, and get away from everything...

it's hard to get pure silence, unless you are living in the countryside. i think i would enjoy it though. but sometimes u can have too many negative thoughts in silence

Chris old son, you sound like you would make a good monk. The silence and the chanting to complement it sound just up your street. I think that we will keep an eye on you from now on and call you Farther Chris. Can i have a blessing?

Silence is Golden. Seize the opportunity to listen to your still small inner voice.
