unless you walk into a contract made up by a major record label. have some one writing your music for you cause you have no true talent. or have a supermodel body.like all the popular bands right now are. then plenty. but if your writing your owner stuff playing with your owner band and working 4 to 7 nights a week at bars and festivals.you will be bringin in about 3 to 4 hundred a week after paying everyone in your band if you dont suck. punk rock shows your lucky to make 40 a night

Locally a band can get 350-500 a night, but thats split between all the members, sometimes the leader, the one who owns most of the equipment gets a bigger share. Weddings pay more 800-1500. And it depend on how good they are and how big of a crowd the owner of the club believes they can draw.

depends on their record contract, album sales, ticket sales for concerts, all the fanfare stuff, like posters and t-shirts. i think if they write the music they also get a royalty kickback. there are a lot of singers that aren't famous and just pay clubs, they get paid per gig and the amount they get depends on the club.

It all depends! If the singer is not very popular they don't get paid much if they ARE popular then they make a LOT.
