I keep losing my main toolbar in excel (file, edit, view, insert, etc). How do I get it back?

It shows up when I press "Chart Menu Options", but disappears when I close out of that box. How do I get it to stay? Any help would be much appreciated.

You aren't seeing your menus when you click Chart Menu Options, that is the Chart Menu Bar. It looks a lot like your Menus, but it isn't. The Worksheet Menu bar is still missing.

If your Worksheet Menu Bar has become detached and is hiding somewhere, you may be able to locate it to re-attach it. Minimize all your windows and if you see the menu, drag it to the top and attach it under the title bar. If you still don't see it with all the windows inside Excel minimized, then be sure the Excel bar is selected, and on the keyboard do Alt-F. The File menu will pop out of somewhere. It is telling you where your menus are, look closely, it may be drug far off your monitor, but you can usually get your cursor on it so you can drag it back.
