Saddam is being treated very nicely in jail. He has both American and Iraqi guards, does his own laundry, gets fed well, is allowed to practice Islam, and reportedly tends a garden.
Saddam is in no way friends with Iranian President Ahmadinejad, or the real leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei. They went to war back in the 1980s, with the United States giving money and weapons (including WMDs) to Saddam Hussein.
We are stretched too thin to attack Iran, but there is no need to. All they are doing is beginning work on their nuclear reactor (which is permitted) without UN observers (which is the main problem). the UN and the USA must negotiate with Iran to put the observers back in - but the USA has no diplomatic ties with Iran.

Actually we should let him call the Iranian President and warn him what happens if you get in bed with the US. Why do you people forget that we installed Saddam in power? That we gave him the WMDS you people are always bitching about as proof that he had to be removed from power? And lastly why do you think a man who was the enemy of Osama Bin Laden and did not allow Al Queada into his country was a threat to us? Do you actually believe he had something to do with 9-11?

Saddam learned a long time ago not to trust Americans, at least the American government. He thought we were backing him in his war in the 80's but then found out we were also selling arms to his enemy, also known as Iran.

This sickening cycle that American politicians practice has got to stop.
Arming hostile countries with our lower scale weapons just to turn around and bomb the crap out of them. And then rebuild their country. Does this make sense?
It's not a Dem/Repub thing. All parties are involved.

Of course he does, listen to the americans and they're all 'we love you for doing that'...stand up to them once and they get their press ready to turn the world against them...In the end Americans are going to realise what happens when you push around everyone, telling them what to do and piss off the world...
