What I can't stand:
People who lean against the pole in crowded MRT especially when they're perspiring (yeeks!)
Youngsters who smoke,curse and swear sitting in coffee shops and acting like adults
crowded bus packed with (smelly) students after the PE sessions
Dirty public toilets with urine on the floor(please do your business properly!)
Kiasu attitude (those extreme case)
Attitude Problem student doing Flag Day who just push their donation box to your face and don't even know which organisation they are helping
Stuck up sales people in boutique even thou we emphasize on good services!
the list goes on . .

Everybody have the things to hate about Singaporean But I really hate the following:
Youngsters who smoke
Kiasu attitude (especially when you want to alight from MRT but people just rush in )
Some people is very arrogant
Talking loudly in the public
Bang into people without even saying sorry

Sorry, I don't hate anything about Singaporeans. They are some of the most earnest people in the world. A promise from a Singaporean is really worth something. Sure there might be exceptions, and people do things like you cite. But compared with most of the rest of the world, pleeaze! Sorry to disappoint you.

Selfish, boasting, look down on people (criticising), clever in "wayang", carry boss, complaint "king" ;etc. These are some of the negative factors of Singaporeans, agree ? On the whole, negative more than the positive. I dare to say that because I am a Singaporean. Hopefully, they can change to positive more than the negatives kind of behaviour.

what i hate is those people who generalise us and say Singaporeans are kiasu, kiasi and kaypoh. it depends on each individual as to how they carry themselves. if this can be generalised, then every Singaporean must be twins, triplets or quadruplets etc. i dont believe those occurrences mentioned in Singapore do not happen to other parts of the world. and i dont believe we are the extremes for kiasu-ism or whatever they label us as.

One of the first people I met on Yahoo Instant Messenger was a woman from Singapore, and she was very nice to me. I don't know where she is now, but I do know I miss her and I hope she is happy.

i agree with you about the students pushing for donations.they r jus so demanding.It was my first visit to spore last month and was shocked by it.the girl followed us and they r everywhere.
