Congratulations! Pregnancy tests work from the first missed day of your period.
You are pregnant. And what about AIDS? Pick up an AIDS test too. They sell them at Wal-mart that you mail in and get results via mail.

Well sounds like you shouldn't have had unprotected sex at all, because most likely you might be pregnant.2 weeks before your period is due is like the peak day of your ovulation. You should take note of your ovulation days, then this wouldn't happen. But also it just "might" be stress, so relax, it might come yet.I have been 3 weeks late and all tests showed negative,i wasn't pregnant,it could be other things if you are not a regular person to begin with.

You can check with home pregnancy test if you are late - even by a day. But accept the possibility that you may be pregnant if you had unprotected sex and are late....do that before you test so that it is not as devastating when you do test positive.

I got pregnant two weeks before my period was due because that is when I ovulated, so yes you could be pregnant, get a early response test (the ones that say they can tell you if you are pregnant even before your missed period) I took the early response test the day after I missed my period and it came up positive. If you are pregnant it should show up. If it comes up negative and you haven't had your period retake a test in a week.

You can check to see if you are pregnant 3 or 4 days before your missed period...get a test!
And in the future remember how you feel right now before you have unprotected sex! You shouldn't be having sex if you are not ready for the responsibiliy that comes with it!
Blessed Be!

Calm down stress can cause you to be late. Just relax if you dont start in another week then get a test. I have been thru that stuff b4 but if you dont want one then you have to use some kind of protection best thing i found was an IUD from the dr then no worrys about pills or anything but std if you dont use a condom

I would stop stressing if I was you. I know we like to think that we have our periods on a tight schedule and can tell exactly when we are go in to have them but we don't....hopefully you are getting your self worked up over nothing. It may not be late you are just so stressed that you think it is...calm down
I hope you have learned your lesson though because you have opened up a whole new can of worms when you decided to have unprotected sex. I hope he was worth it Watching someone die with AIDS isn't the funnest thing in the world....be smart its your body!

If your cycle lenght is around 28 days, then 2 weeks before your period is due is actually time when the ovulation occures, so you might be pregnant and it's not early for pregnancy test. Mine was positive 2 days before my period was due, both time I was pregnant (wanted pregnancies)

Get a pregnancy test! They work after your first missed period..I did a First Response test...they work 5 days before the missed period...so if you miss calculated when you were due to have your period this gives you a few days to be off! Good luck!

Well, you are definately able to use an at-home test. They work from the first missed day. But, to me, it seems like the whole timing between the sex and now is just about right for pregnancy. Sorry.
