Although people think different there is one country which it's official language is English and that is Guyana a former British colony. I confirmed and the proof follows

Guyana is located on the northern coast of South America, just north of the Equator. Guyana is bordered to the east by Suriname, to the south and southwest by Brazil and to the west by Venezuela. It is the third smallest country in South America and approximately the size of Great Britain. Guyana is the only South American country whose official language is English, and is one of only two remaining countries in the mainland Americas to drive on the left.

The Falkland Islands, which are considered part of South America, have English as their first language. English is also the official language of Guyana, and South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands.
Not all countries in S. America (besides Brazil) have Spanish as their official language. Besides the ones listed, Suriname also has a different official language, Dutch.

Others have actually given you the correct answer with several countries in South America which have English as their first language, I will use this to just comment on how stupid some of the answers are that are wrong.

Some of you people are just really stupid. "There are many things in life you can survive, stupidity is not one of them."
