Getting married is wonderful. Given the obvious, that you love the person and are willing to make a commitment, it could not be better. But with this comes a warning. Although you have made a lifelong commitment, it does not go without work. It takes a lot of hard work to keep relationships interesting, work through disagreements that you will have, and put up with the idiosynchroses of living with the person you have married.
So one word of advice... Make time for "dates" to keep things interesting, and be patient. You will see many benefits.

Getting married with maturity and an open heart is wonderful. Don't take it lightly, like having a baby, the wedding lasts about 30 seconds and then you are faced with a lifetime of work.

Marriage is as the two work out. Two mature people in love, ready and committed to a lifetime, can make a good marriage.
The Catholic Church now has the fiancee's applying for a marriage to wait while they do a course which lasts for several months.

It really is a good thing! Especially if you have met the right person and you are ready to spend the rest of your life with them. You just have to know when the right person comes along! Good luck!

in some cases marriage is good providing it isnt rushed or done for all the wrong reasons....Love my husband and never been as happy as I am when we are together but that isnt the same for everyone all relationships are difficult but totally worth the money time and effort

getting married could be good aslong as your not rushing into it, getting forced.... make sure you know the person you are really marrying....

That depends...if you're a catholic priest it's wrong, for all the others it's right. But...it's important to wait until you are sure that you found the right guy (or girl).

No it's not good if you are a male because you become a slave.If you are a woman then it's nice because you get a slave.
