Is that your sub conscience asking this question? You obviously don't feel quite at ease with the Gothic lifestyle otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question. You secretly hope that someone will come up with a good answer. But it won't be this one. And if you have to live a certain way, but you don't feel comfortable in it, then why continue living that way?

Well, no one here can do that, but a few years from now, TIME will convince you to do that. As you're holding your cup of coffee and heading to your job in a private company, probably doing something with papers or MS Office, you'll remember your goth days and laugh your a$$ off and how ridiculous you looked. For now though, it's just cute.

You will give it up yourself in time. Nobody here will make you give it up I am sure. I don't understand though why you would choose such a gloomy outlook, dress like a vampire, and basically just dog yourself when I am sure you are young and creative. These are the years when you are your best looking without making much of an effort at all. You are just young and beautiful. Why are you trying to make yourself look ugly? Someday you will regret making yourself look this way.

I wouldn't even try ! To each his own. And besides, it's something you'll grow out of eventually.
Everyone I know that was once Gothic, has completely changed. They went through their stage, and went on to something else, like getting decent jobs.
Nobody is going to be able to talk you out of something you really want to do.

Why would you want to do that?
I'd dress gothic if I had the courage. I'm too old for that sh!t now...I outgrew dressing in a certain "style." Now, I just listen to the music.

The day will come when you realize for yourself that Goth does not work for you anymore. Until that day comes and you make the decision on your own, the rest of us are just rude noises, trying to bring you down.
