YEP! I met a man on line a month ago and we've been dating ever since - he just might be my "Mr. Right"! We have much in commmon, look for the same things in a relationship, share the same values. We get along great!

We met in a very public place and spent several hours together getting to now each other. We've been out a few times and he's very wonderful.

He treats me with total respect, has met my family already, etc.

I've been doing the "on-line" dating thing for quite a while now. As long as you are "safe" about it and make wise decisions, there's nothing wrong with meeting people from on line.

I have met TONs of people over the Internet over the last 10 Years.

Yahoo! Chats used to be a great place to meet friends, But of course, Porn Bots took over and A$$HOLE$ as well. And Since there are no Chat Moderators, I decided to quit Yahoo! Chat for good.

MSN Chatrooms is where I met most of the people. We used to hang out every weekend at a Park. over 60 people from MSN Chatrooms, drinking and playing games (Real Sports Games).
Yet once again..MSN also got into the PORN BOTS business and finally they decided to start charging to its members in order to chat.. What a Waste.

It was a great Experience..
Unfortunally Nowadays, the Media takes advantage of the stupidity and idiot brains of the United States Citizens and Feed them FEAR, instead of Education, therefore makes it kind of weird and bad to meet people online.

I love the good old days :)

I think you hit on the head...just "curious". I mean, you chat or email someone online. Naturally, if you have been communicating with him/her for sometime, you two must be getting along - in some way. Then, your curiosity is aroused...is the other person for real or is he/she just playing a role? So, you begin to form a picture of the person at the other end. It could be physical or behaviorial.

Then, you think, if you see him/her, so will he/she see you. Will you live up to the expectations?

Having thought through these, I think it is much better to just be online friends ... rather than to let curiosity kills the proverbial cat. :)

Good Luck.
