Absolutely. There are unexplored regions of this planet everywhere. There are unexplored regions of the Rockies, Himalayan, Andes, etc. Unexplored portions of the Sahara, Gobi, Death Valley. There are probably areas of the Qingling. Although I've never actually heard of them.
