We have 100000000 chaneels on TV, Satellite, activities, restaurants open sometime till 4.00 am Internet, computer....etc. but I always hear one word from people, I am Bored!!!!!!!

to much choice and not enough talking, I only had the basic TV channels when I was young so the family talked more and played games like hop scotch etc.
today the world wants to race and no one is taking time to talk to each other.

This sounds like something my ma would say but people don't know how to entertain themselves any more. With the plethora of choice of entertainment, they've become ultra picky, so if their favourite episode of feckin the OC isn't on then they run out of inspiration. Its true, if you can read and you have a genuinely enquiring mind you are never bored. Its only people who have become used to being passive consumers of information and entertainment that get bored. I don't even have a TV and if the leccy goes off I just go play my geetar, read a book or go do some gardening or something, there's a million and one things to do, we're just all too plugged into the matrix! I wish i had the spare time to say I was bored! (ok I'm getting addicted to this but I'm SUPPOSED to be putting away the shopping!)

Possibly due to a lack of a "broad "education.State education in the UK.appears to be only interested in exam results and avoids giving an education with any emphasis on other values.

because there isnt much on TV these days or u dont like a certain episode also the only songs that are new these days is rap and if u dont like rap than u r usally bored.

I don't know about that...but it sure seems to me that the people most likely to say they are bored, are probably the most boring people you could meet.

that's because there's TOO much going on that's ready made. If there wasnt much of anything , kids especially, would exercise their creativity more, make their own fun and gain a sense of achievement.

Because they have no imagination. The plethora of entertainments that are provided for people mean that they don't have to make their own amusement anymore.
