No, I've never knowingly eaten a canine. I just saw a TV programme recently on the race to the South Pole between Norway and Britain. The Norwegians used dog sleds to get to the pole while the British man hauled theirs; the Norwegians got to the pole first, but they ate half their dogs on the way to supplement their normal food supplies.

I disagree. We should and thankfully do eat animals, but perhaps not dogs. Of course, in Korea it is almost the national dish.

Iwould only knowingly eat dogmeat if it was the really only edible thing in the world to consume,and I was going to die of hunger...

Yes, but under extreme, and I mean extreme circumstances. The world would have had to have been just totally destroyed, and no other food around to sustain human life. Otherwise, no I could not even phatom the thought of eating a dog.

Only if I was starving. I would not have planned a journey that meant I had to eat a dog because I think they are wonderful creatures and have had too many as pets/friends to even consider it!

Definitely not, I really could not do it to save my life, I just love my dog and can't bear the thought of anyone wanting to eat her.
