I'm wondering why you like this person then. If you start out the question by saying he is "really annoying" is there anything about him you like? Maybe you need to re-evaluate the friendship before you start trying to change him.

Jeans and suit jacket is v fashionable when going into town for drinks, but could look a bit overdressed for the cinema. If he wanted to keep fairly smart a v neck fine knit jumper over a shirt or polo top would be a better compromise, he could take it off when he sits down, although they always have the air con on full blast at our cinema so I freeze all the way through!
Maybe thinks you might go for a meal/drinks after and dresses for that?

well at least he isn't boring and just always wears sweats or something. He obviously is not afraid to try new things and stand out which is really cool! If you are embarrassed.. well what can I tell you if he is your friend then who cares? I have seen people wear much more "stupid" thing than a suit top (aka jacket). Actually that doesn't look stupid at all hes just having fun and being stylish = )

How should u tell him? Explain 2 him that it isn't the right thing 2 wear when he goes 2 the cinema! but don't shout at him by explaining this A B C!!

The stupid bit is going to the cinema, with all the racket, popcorn, mobile phones, etc these days.

let him wear what he feel good in. what one person like to wear another wont. Would you like it if anyone told you how to dress. you should be mates warts and all we all have annoying habbits so let him be

u should respect his individual style! but if it bothers u that much, instead of goin 2 the cinema, take him shopping!

if he is a good friend it shouldnt matter what he wears. its about his personality and how he treats you. and, if you were a good friend to him, you wouldnt be complaining about what he wears.
