Have spyware now. Where and how to customize the incoming emails?

I get much too much spam, and I want to set the settings appropiately. What do u suggest? Most of what I get is spam, but I don't know....until I look at each entry. Your suggestions are welcomed.

its is impossible to filter out all spam e mails .......you can try filter words if most of your emails are similar
