Try Orson Scott Card's Journeyman series for original fantasy. R.A. Salvatorre if you're looking for the sword and sorcery genre. Then there's Raymund Feist's Riftwar series. All good. I've read them about 5 or 6 times each since I bought them.

Oh, and please buy the book version so the authors get paid and write more stuff in the future. The free downloads aren't always accurate anyway. They may be the same title but the story is completely bogus.

Edit: Oh yeah, the library!! Listen to LinsayG.
