If you connect 3 generators in series you will get 3 times the voltage but the same current so three in series will give you 18V and 0.5A.

However if you connect 3 in parallel - assuming that the voltages are the same, you will get 3 times the current and the same voltage or 6V and 1.5A.

One dynamo =0.5 A x 6V=3 watts. If you connect 3 dynamos total power will be 9 watts. You cannot get more than 9 watts no matter how you connect. If you connect them in series you will get 0.5 A x 18 V = 9 watts. You will get 1.5 A x 6V =9 watts when you connect in parallel. But it is not good idea to connect in parallel since cycle dynamo generate AC.
Have a nice day.

OK, one bit of ignorance to admit. I don't know if the cycle dynamo output is ac or dc. If dwarf is right that the output is ac, then connecting them in series is not a good idea either. One dynamo could be positive when the next is negative so they would not be adding voltage but subtracting.

If you connect 3 of them you get 18V and 0.5 A

If you connect them in parallel you get 1.5A at 6V

To get what you want you need 9 of them
make 3 sets of 3 each in parallel and connect the 3 sets in serial

no volts are volts, amps are how much push is required to push the volts though. So if you have an item that is 110 v and 500watts 500\110=4.54amps
