Because Dave Grohl knows his stuff. He knows what makes a good song and the boy sure can play! I predict that either he will keep making great music til the day he dies or he will know just when to quit. Looking back, I think he probably chose Nirvana rather than the other way around.

The reason is Dave Grohl.
He is a master...he wrote the music for Nirvana and can take on any role in a band. Remember, he played drums for Nirvana.

Because they're mostly from Washington State, lol. Nearly every band that made it big in Washington rocks. Nirvana, Soundgarden, Jimi Hendrix, Alice in Chains, Screaming Trees (they should have been bigger, Mark Lanegan rocks!)...
