My husband is 60 and he was in middle school then,the best is dark denim jeans new,cuffed up about 4 inchs,hair slicked back with pomade,a white t-shirt with a pocket,comb in the bak pocket of your pants and some cigarettes [pack]rolled up in your shirt sleeve!I have gone to lots of 50's partys and the best place to shop is Goodwill and Salvation Army,try to get plain Levis .
