There are links on this first site, does it have to be newspapers?
You can buy newspaper prints online, but lots of sites list events for a date, without being in headline format?

do a google search for a site called time traveler... not sure of the add but try google and you will find it.. I did one and found lots of stuff i just don't know what i did to get there..

if you go to google and put in what happened this day etc...date month year you might get a link to a archive paper
