When you loathe someone, you despise them, avoid them, stay away from them, want to get rid of them...As far as I can see, the alleged loathing of Mr. Bush is just talk, all mouth and no action. If people really loathed the man, they'd actively work to get rid of him. He has enough impeachable offenses to sink a battleship.
So, yes, I think the degree of loathing is vastly overestimated. Bush represents the people and the people support him. The few who do not can't do anything to stop him and his gang.

Yes, I don't loathe Bush. I loathe all the whining & complaining from the radical left who seem to not have had an original thought of their own in years. They give no answers. They just finger point. They seem to want to hand our country over to anyone but US citizens.

yes, since over all the majority of the people like him, they disagree with some issue, most disagree with his immigration stand. And of course that is why poll numbers always look bad, they are asked so that if you diagree with one thing, you don't like him,
But he has the enconomy up, unemployment down, stocks and mutual funds doing fantastic. He is fighting the terrorists to keep america safe, I think most americans are getting tired of the liberal side complaining but not having or saying any plan of thier own.
